A most wonderful trip! Many thanks to Jenny, Sofi, Paulo, Pablo and the rest of the Galaxy Diver II crew! A huge thanks to Jenny for coordinating everything and answering questions even when she is out on expedition. The crew truly reflected a well-trained team to support the customers. Outstanding service! The boat is modern, maintained, and spacious. The food served aboard was absolutely delicious and served in healthy portions. The diving was fantastic!

Fabulous boat, guides, crew and co-passengers!

This was by far the best dive adventure I have been on yet, it was an epic adventure! The guides (Sofi and Paulo) were top notch and full of tons of information and knew how to deliver great teachings and camaraderie. The staff could have not been better, the director was on point, every morning we were greeted with (wakey-wakey) as the wake announcement. Made me laugh and exhausted all at the same time…🤣😎 The boat and accommodations was by far the nicest liveaboard I’ve been on yet! Sofi’s knowledge and love for Galápagos and all of her knowledge was mesmerizing. To be able to listen to hump back whales singing, swimming iguanas, dancing sea lions, blue boobie birds, penguins and all the hammer head sharks….so much more too!!! Just Wow!!!! All the crew deserve an applause, they were a joy to be around and visit with, not to mention they worked extremely hard for all the guests. Last but not least was all the new friends from around the world that I met, this part was truly magical. I just loved them all and so enjoyed sharing this experience with such special people. I've just returned from my 5th trip diving the Galapagos Islands, all with Galapagos Shark Diving (+ 1 trip to Raja Ampat with them.) Every trip has been different but exciting in its own way...and Galapagos Shark Diving is a major part of why that is. Right from the start, their communication, pre-trip planning and on-board management has been impeccable. Their knowledge and experience in the entire archipelago is impressive and is a major reason why my trips have been so good. They are constantly working to insure that you have the best possible experience. The "scientist on board" is a true value as they provide interesting information throughout the trip and they are always available to help, give advice and answer questions. The ship is the Pinguino Explorer (renamed to Aqua). It is an older vessel but it is clean, safe, well-maintained and much more than adequate. In my 5 trips, we've never experienced a mechanical issue of any kind. The crew has been consistently excellent and this year was no exception. They were always eager to help with your gear, assisting in and out of the pangas, cooking and serving meals, cleaning the boat, doing anything for you that made you as comfortable as possible. I never once saw a crew member slack off or avoid work that needed to be done. Food was well prepared and plentiful and they went out of their way to accommodate my special diet. The divemasters, Jorge and Simon, were rock solid. And the diving... it is hard to put into words, you really need to experience it first hand. Hammerheads, White Tips, Galapagos Sharks, Sea Lions, Turtles, Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, Marine Iguanas, Molas, Red-lipped Batfish, Seahorses, massive schools of Barracuda and Bigeye Jacks... and of course, Whale Sharks... just a partial list of what you will see. Every dive is unique in its encounters and you never know what to expect, only that it will be interesting and often unexpected. In addition to the diving, there are also panga tours and snorkels that are surprisingly fun. Galapagos was originally a bucket list trip for me but it has now become a regular event. I prefer the 15 day itinerary as I can afford the time and I highly recommend it. However, if you're hesitant or can't invest that amount of time, the 8 day is still exceptional. So if you've been wanting to dive Galapagos, either itinerary will be fun and exciting. And for sure, let Galapagos Shark Diving show you the way. You won't regret it.
